EPS-FRONT 4.0 with Display front parking sensor kit

The EPS-FRONT 4.0 with Display is activate by pressing the included push-button switch that mounts discretely in the area under your steering wheel for easy access. It is designed to facilitate the manoeuvres when advancing against an obstacle (car, wall, walking step etc.).

The main feature of this new version is the special connection between the control unit and the antenna sensor which is constituted by a small electronic module.
This allows a more secure assembly by eliminating the possibility of malfunction due to incorrect installation.

The approaching of the obstacle is signalled with Bips with increasing frequency and visual LED's (3 zones) alerting you of your proximity to surrounding objects.

The control unit can be positioned in the cabin under the dshboard on driver's side while the speaker (buzzer) it is easily applicable under the dashboard itself.

These three types of alerts zone:

Lighting on of Leds without sound signal (alert signal).
EPS alerts you of presence and approach of the obstacles.
GREEN LED

Bips with increasing frequency (alarm signal).
L'EPS informs that the obstacles is at a distance variable between 30 and 15 cm from the bumper.
YELLOW LED + word AL

Continuous sound low-frequency (risk of contact).
The bumper is 15-10 cm close the obstacle.

RED LED + word ST

Universal and customizable

Adjustable sensitivity. With the new rear parking sensor EPS-DUAL 3.0 you can choose between four different calibrations; this to facilitate installation on most cars.

The sensor antenna

Antenna sensor 3.50 meters long: With a longer antenna sensor you can install the EPS-FRONT 4.0 even on very long car bumpers like campers and motor home. Can be cut to the length of the bumper.

Activation via button

The system is activated by pressing the button with bright led and three red dots to confirm activation light up on the display. To deactivate it, just press the button again, otherwise the system will turn off automatically after 2 minutes.

It is not recommended to keep the system active while driving.

If the sensor passes behind the license plate

On some cars the ideal application area for applying the antenna sensor is at the license plate. Passing the sensor behind the license plate does not affect the obstacle detection ability in the least.

The license plate is not signaled.

The Display

Display for Car Parking Sensor mod. EPS-DUAL 4.0

The display is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged, the signalling is done through the illumination of the LEDs and a series of "Beeps" increasing with decreasing distance from any obstacles (people, walls, poles or curbstones, other vehicles).

Led + Sound

1) The first two green LEDs inform the driver that an obstacle is approaching.

2) Intermittent sound at a frequency of increasing repetition rate simultaneously with 3 LED color yellow and the word AL (ALARM) in the center of the display when the obstacle comes close to the bumper at a distance between 15 and 30 cm.

3) Switching on of the first red led, followed by the second one with a continuous sound, simultaneously to the word St (STOP) when an obstacle is very close to the bumper (10-15 cm).
